Peppergrass - Pilularia Globulifera

Pepper grass is a native oxygenator which is declining rapidly in the wild and classified as vulnerable and protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act. Grown submerged in shallow water or as a marginal. The short leaves are bristle-shaped curled in the early stages. The fruits are like small round pepper corns found at the base of the stem.
